Cesar Londonio, 63, construction worker, received his certificate of completion for finishing junior high school under the ALS program.

"Wala naman sa edad 'yan, isang karangalan sa akin na kahit na senior na ako ay nagsumikap ako makatapos (Age does not matter, it is an honor for me that despite being a senior, I worked hard to finish),” he said.

Liza Cruz, 70, said being the eldest among her siblings was one of the reasons why she had to stop studies when she was young.

"Ang pangarap ko kasi sa kanila ay makatapos [sila] ng pag-aaral (My dream is for them to finish their studies),” she said.

"Ngayon, kahit papaano, nakamtan ko rin ang pangarap ko na kahit elementary ay nakagraduate ako (Now, I achieved my dream to graduate in elementary at least), " she added.
