Bulacan police arrested 16 individuals in a series of anti-criminality operations on Monday, Sept. 4. 

In reports submitted to Police Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEUs) of Meycauayan and Baliwag City police, Marilao, and Bocaue municipal police conducted anti-illegal drugs operations that resulted in the arrest of nine drug peddlers.

Confiscated from the arrested suspects were 25 sachets of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of San Jose Del Monte, Baliwag City, San Ildefonso, and Bustos police led to the apprehension four wanted persons by virtue of warrants of arrest for different law violations.

All the arrested accused are under the custody of the arresting units or stations for proper disposition.

In Malolos, three persons were caught in the act of playing an illegal card game (tong-its) at Northville 8, Brgy. Bangkal at about 8:55 in the evening of September 4. Confiscated from the suspects were one set of playing cards and bet money in different denominations.

A criminal complaint for violation of P.D. No. 1602 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
