Presidential son Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos received an awesome guest Wednesday, Aug. 9--and that's the truth.
In a Facebook story, Marcos is seen rubbing shoulders with retired Filipino-American mixed martial arts (MMA) star Brandon "The Truth" Vera.
Judging by the senior deputy majority leader's reaction, he had quite the fun time having Vera over.
"Thank you for stopping by the office champ!!! @brandonthetruthvera" wrote the 29-year-old Marcos.
Vera, 45, is former ranked heavyweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Champion and the 2005 WEC Heavyweight Grand Prix Champion.
Vera specializes in striking, particularly kickboxing. He announced his retirement in December 2022.
