Due to reorganization effect, Tropical Depression Dodong is moving in southwest direction "so, we are expecting in the following hours, 'Dodong' will move northwestward while passing the West Philippine Sea," weather specialist Benison Estareja said in a mix of Filipino and English. In its latest 11 p.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) monitored "Dodong" in northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan, moving southwestward at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour (kph). It has maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 70 kph.

As the forecasted track stated, "Dodong" moves northwestward until Sunday morning while gradually turning west-northwestward direction, heading to southern China. On the report, the tropical depression is set to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility tomorrow evening (July 15) or Sunday morning (July 16).
