For the sixth day in a row, the number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) daily cases was below 10,000 – or 8,361 on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2020.
And as the COVID-19 situation becomes more and more manageable, election fever is expected to reach fever-high this week with the start of the campaign period on Feb. 8, 2020.
Meanwhile, the Department of Education (DepEd) said that, with the start of the vaccination of children aged five to 11 years old, schoolchildren who may have to skip classes to get themselves inoculated will be excused.
