There are about 40 Filipinos who have managed to get out of Ukraine and are now awaiting repatriation back to the Philippines, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). And there could be more coming from Lviv as the war rages on in the besieged Eastern European country.

A debate organized by CNN Philippines allowed all but two of the vice presidential candidates to convey their plans and agenda should they win in the May 2022 polls. From establishing hospitals dedicated to infectious diseases, to boosting food security, and maintaining that there is nothing wrong with being President Duterte’s friend, the vice presidential bets were able to share their thoughts.

 And thanks to a party-list group solon, the intricately woven Tausug cloth called “pis syabit”, has drawn the attention and praise of a New York-based Filipino fashion designer.
