As Filipinos celebrate Christmas this weekend, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go called on the public to activate the “Bayanihan” spirit and continue cooperating with the government amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges recently posed by Typhoon Odette.

Go, for his part, said he is certain that the country will soon recover from these problems through President Duterte’s leadership and the Filipino people’s continued cooperation.

With this, the senator urged all Filipinos to continue showing their solidarity for one another.

“Mahal kong mga kababayan, napakarami nating pinagdaanan ngayong taon (To our beloved people, we experienced a lot of challenges this year),” remarked Go.

But due to our continued support and bayanihan, and the leadership of President Duterte, we are slowly seeing a ray of hope that we can fully overcome the ongoing pandemic),” the senator said.

Go, who recently withdrew his plans to pursue the presidency in the upcoming May 2022 elections, reassured that he and Duterte would continue to serve the country in order to give hope to those afflicted by the recent disasters.

The senator also stressed that the government is steadfast in its commitment to provide a more comfortable life for all Filipinos.

Patuloy ang pagbibigay ng serbisyong tunay na may malasakit (We will continue serving you so we can give hope to each Filipino. We will continue to provide real public service),” said Go.

We will continue our goal to provide the best to provide good life to Filipinos),” he added.
