A priest from the Archdiocese of Manila is the new Assistant Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines.
The San Fernando de Dilao Parish announced the appointment of Father Carlo del Rosario, Tuesday on their Facebook page.

“Prayerful greetings and best wishes! Fr. Carlo P. Del Rosario on his appointment as Assistant Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines,” read the post.
Del Rosario is the parochial vicar of the San Fernando de Dilao Parish in Paco, Manila.
The news come weeks after the appointment of Monsignor Bernard Pantin as CBCP secretary general.
Prior to his November 25 appointment, Msgr. Pantin has been CBCP’s assistant secretary general.
Pantin replaced Fr. Marvin Mejia of the Cebu archdiocese, who served the position since 2013 and whose term ended on October 31.
